EU Policy, Ports & Future Challenges
European ports, located in various regions, satisfy individual demand and are endowed with different infrastructure. However, they have to implement EU regulations in their ports. A best practice dialog on different administrative, management and financing models will contribute to sectorial efficiency increases and trade transaction cost reduction. This dialog will be initiated by discussions within 4 workshops and conferences dealing with the topics EU-policies, administration, marketing and financing. The expected results will be an advancement of broad knowledge transfer and exchange of experiences on EU port policies and types of organization which fit into the regional framework of different ports.
Port Integration has identified various approaches for the ports regarding EU policy.
